An Update

I spoke with my Sister about making soap. That might be a new avenue for me to explore. I have personally tested the pina colada soap and it lathers very nicely.

Should you be looking for stocking-stuffers or an inexpensive gift, stop by SoapFolks.Com. The Kona Coffee on her site is mine, and you get a better deal at my website ItsKona.Com.

I am awaiting a call from a guy who may be interested in the last puppy. I have reduced the price but won’t drop it any more. She is beginning to become part of the family and I could use her for breeding, so there is no reason to “give” her away. She really is a sweet girl.

An update, he called and can’t afford the price I’m asking, so unless someone else calls soon, looks like I’ll keep her.

I set up an Obi box for a neighbor and she made her first phone call from it. Although she opted to not use the free Google long distance, she is still going to save a “boatload” (a technical term) of money.

The other day I watched the second season of Downton Abbey. Those who have seen it really seem to be enjoying it. It is interesting because some of the people you hated at first turn out better and some who you liked, not so much so.

I will be renewing my Amazon Prime membership, partly because of the expedited but also from the ability to watch streaming videos on my Roku.

This past Tuesday was the last episode of “First Tuesday Book Club” (an Australian TV shop) and this Saturday is the last episode of the season for “Gardening Australia”. Both these shows available on my Roku. I also have seen an episode or two of “Poh’s Kitchen”, another Aussie show. I may be watching more Australian TV than some people over there :-)

I am still waiting for Social Security to send my first check. It was delayed a month and I’m wondering if the delay will bring me two months worth of money. If not, then unless the government has found a way to extend my life an extra month, they owe me a months worth of money!

We had a nice KonaWeb party Tuesday (interesting how First Tuesday Book Club and the KonaWeb picnic end up on the same day). Twenty four of us gathered and had a really nice time.

There is more to pass along, but if I do that all today. there would be no reason to stop back, would there?
