Another Long Day

I am working on converting two websites because the owners are paying a “boatload” of money to someone else for them. Their costs will drop from “OH MY GOSH” to “you have to charge me more”. I feel so sorry for people who think that a website has to cost more than $100 a year no matter what it involves.

While using the tractor to mow in the fruit orchard, I found a couple of mower bolts that are loose and starting to break off. It was off to Ace Hardware to try to find replacements. I came close enough to get it back working. The mower deck is very heavy and I had to support it with automotive jack stands and a hydraulic jack.

I got a call that my latest batch of coffee has been milled so I headed over and picked up the green coffee. I have a few order so have started roasting it.

Another website customer wanted a few changes to their website, so back to the computer.

Yes, I’m STILL recovering files from my hosed disk drive.

I took the dogs out for some play time and all three disappeared and soon came back with avocados. Looks like Mom taught daughter where the tree is.

My toll-free number was successfully transferred to the VOIP provider I’m using for other services. My toll-free monthly costs were slashed in half. While dramatic in percentages, it will only save me $12 a year. Still, that is $12 more in my pocket. Per minute costs are now 2.4 cents a minute rather than 5 cents a minute I was paying.

After all that, I still had a few minutes to read emails and post a few blog entries.
