This video from the Humane Society shows part of their journey. http://www.care2.com/causes/donkeys-journey-to-safety-video.html

An interesting note is that on a trip to Las Vegas a few months ago, my friend out there wanted t odrive to a nearby town and it ended up being Tehachapi, the same town where these donkeys are now living!

Just outside the town are hundreds of windmills previous mentioned here. I took lots of photos of the hill-filled power generators because we have few windmills here.

Also right next to my friends house is Edwards Air Force Base so 15 miles from his driveway is the Shuttle Landing Strip. Longtime readers here will remember my trips to see the shuttle take off from Florida.

It is interesting that over the years, amny various items tend to coalesce and join each other, the older you get.

The reference to the donkeys came from someone at a meeting yesterday who said that two coffee faremrs I have met came from Tehachapi and used to (or still do) work for Hewlett Packard (the same company I retired from).

Life has little interesting twists and turns.
