I need to catch up and get the grass mowed across the whole 5 acres and then get the pickers to come clean the trees of old coffee cherry. Then there is the fertilization and spraying of the coffee and fruit trees.

I’m still working on making a small drying deck, but that project got set aside when I went into the hospital. I may just call the guy down the street who does construction and see what he would charge me to finish the project.

I have at least one set of stairs to be rebuilt and sometime in the next year, a real drying deck to be built after having the garage torn down.

I opened the website store and immediately got 2 orders for coffee from existing customers who were chomping at the bit for caffeine. As a one-man operation, I appreciate that people understand that it is taking me a bit longer to roast and ship coffee and I get my strength back. I still cannot lift heavy bags of coffee beans and will have to start transferring the 100 pound contents to smaller bags so I can lift them.

This past Tuesday I attended the monthly Konaweb party. I missed last months party because I was in the emergency room having a camera shoved into my heart. Anyway, this month we had a large turnout and saw a whale breaching a ways offshore. This is the photo from the event. I am in the front row, 4th from the left. I also took the photo using a time-delay, multi-photo app on my cellphone.
