I used to live in Georgia and there were some very different things that happened there. I cojuld go on and on, but here is something recent.

D. Geller and Son, a well-known jeweler in the Atlanta area, has come up with what they think is a great marketing idea.

Buy a diamond, get a gun.

It’s not quite as strange as the casinio in Vegas that is attached to a store where you can buy a gun and ammuniition, but similar!

In explanation, D. Geller does not actually sell you a gun, you get a voucher to use at a nearby store which sells such things, and it is a hunting rifle, not a gun you can use if the recipient of the diamond cheats on you. Or could it be used for that?
