Ok, so I have been posting via the voice response in my Andriod phone. I find a place on a website where I can type something and I press the mike icon and just speak. It converts speech to text pretty well. Sometimes I had to correct mispellings, other times I ignore them and even ignored the lack of initial caps on sentences.

I had been typing on the little video keyboard on my Droid-X and complaining. Oh the Droid-X is a great phone, but lengthly messages are not easy for me.

My friend Jeff pointed me to a program I did not find on my own. It lets me use the cellphone as a modem when I plug the USB cable into my PC. The cell side was easy ti install, however it took me a bit to get the .EXE program downloaded to my cell and then transfered to the PC without an internet connection HINT: I used a “file copy” program which allows USB data to by copied.

Once the programs were on each side, my PC connected through the cell to its data internet connection. My home PC was back on the air, although at about 1/3 to 1/5 the speed I normally get. I must be teathered t othe computer by this USB cable and I cannot pass data when I am on the phone, but I was able t odownload about a weeks worth of email in 15 accounts I monitor, all in a few minutes! It is not perfect, but it works well and I am happy!

Now my blogs can be longer with more mispellings and errors!
