1 out of every 8 voter registrations is faulty, says an independant survey from the Pew Center. More than 1.8 million dead people are listed as active U.S. voters.

Canada has an automated system that costs 35 cents to process a registration while we spend $4.11 per voter to do it the old paper way.

Some states have toughened voter registration laws but some states were blocked because they were unfairly discriminating against minoority voters.

I think one issue is that some people have no state issued ID, thus might be the case of illegals who are paid and pay with cash, etc.
