With one, if not THE highest electricity cost in the nation, many of us already conserve electricity. With just a few CFL’s on, very occasional oven use, some microwave use, a small hot water heater, the ocassional drier and washer use and a TV and computer, I average $150 a month!

I am able to close windows and keep in the heat, or open them and get a breeze to conserve electric. I used to dry clothes on the line until I found just how much the sun was bleaching them.

I am considering solar panels and/or solar hot water heating, yet have so many other projects, this one may have to wait.
