Although we vote, we do not necessarily elect the President, the Electorial College does. Even though they are supposed to vote based upon popular vote, I believe that in some states, an EC person could vote the other way, thus it appears a single person, under the right circumstances, could tip the election the other way.

Anyway, in previous elections I have worked as a polling volunteer, manning the vote tallying machine at my polling place. After having some hip problems and having small puppies, I opted to not to continue with that, however I am still greted by name at the local polling place. Even though many know mem, I will still take my photo ID and go through the motions.

So, today alreay I have taken both sets of dogs out (the grownups and the puppy), checked emails and started laundry. I am roasting some coffee for orders received.

I may be called to pick up other coffee I am having roasted in bult today and am scheduled to work at the pet co-op cutting meat thisafternoon. Then it is off to the KonaWeb party at the old airport and then back to pick up my own meat order at the co-op. Then back home to feed the dogs.

With some energy I may also be able to mow part of the orchard today. Time will tell.
