As noted in the blog in great detail since then, I have now “branched out” (pun intended) to include some macadamia nut trees, many fruit trees and even a bit of spice.

My quandry is, should I add the items to the name? Do I become “LavaRock Fruit, Nut, Spice and Coffee Farm?” No, I think not, but I will start adding photos and writeups to the ItsKona.Com website.

I have a few figs already showing and have now eaten 4 or 5 of the acerola berries. They are actually quite good and I will have to stop nibbling so I can tell how big they will really grow. The current trees were purchased as 3 gallon size and planted a couple weeks ago. Luckily, the fruit will take a few years before I have to really do much with it. Ten, I’ll be at the farmers markets and parked along the street hawking fruit and spices. :-)
