So then here, somewhat related, is an item from the local newspaper.

West Hawaii Today is reporting that the Marine Corps heavy helicopter squadron 363, commonly known as the Lucky Red Lions, will do a “fly by” over South and North Kona today (Tuesday) around 10 a.m., from Honaunau to Keahole International Airport. The “fly by” is a mahalo to more than 25 Kona coffee farmers for their donations of Kona coffee to servicemen over the past three years. To date, Kona coffee farmers have donated 2.5 tons of coffee to Hawaii-based units of the Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. The copters have been spotted over Kona for the past several days, two of them flying low in formation. Today’s event is reportedly the official thanks.

This beats a certificate anytime! :-)
