There is an old comedy called “Don’t Raise The Bridge, Lower The River”.

I am reminded of that title often here in America when I see the government want to do wealth redistribution.

 

I guess I would prefer to see people be encouraged to make more money and make a better life to move higher up the ladder, than to take money away from those at the top.

We have a tendency of lowering what people at the top have rather than stressing people at the bottom strive to be one of the 1 %.
