Now for “real” rather than “virtual” gifts.

If you want an odd gift, something that is really different, you might try Stupid.Com. They have Shamrock Glasses, a #10 Self-Twirling Spaghetti Fork (battery powered) and for that Psychologist friend, “Freudian Slippers”. You will spend lots of time looking at the website and I would be surprised if you didn’t find something to buy.

Years ago I was on a trip from California to Vegas and we stopped at Peggy Sue’s, a retro diner with lots of memorabilia like Lucy lunch pails and so on. They also had lots of oldtime candies. You don’t need to travel to California to get old time candy. Go to www.oldtimecandy.com and you will find all sorts of candies you had as a kid. They have candy based upon decades and by occasion. For example, remember those paper rolls of candy buttons? Remember bubblegum cigarettes? How about Choward’s Violet Mints or Black jack gum? yes, you can still get Bonomo’s Turkish Taffy. Check out their website and relive your childhood!
