I’ll Follow The Sun
The farm is almost completely fully planted and that is a good thing. I had a crew weed whack while I did a full cut on the grass of the 8+ acre farm. There still is a bit more work to make it look great. I have some place where a fruit tree needs to be replaced however luckily my supplier has a big plant sale this coming weekend. My next project is to propogate a few hundred coffee trees
I’ll also be stopping by my Sisters to drop off a couch and wire an outlet.
Speaking of electricty, I still have not permanently placed my solar panels. Yesterday I bought some plastic sawhorses which will allow me to raise many of the panels into a better position for the current sun position. The sun is gradually coming back to the position where the panels generate power so the cost of these sawhorses is minimal if I can boost my solar capacity a bit higher. When the panels are permanent, I will be able to adjust their angle to follow the sun and thus raise their efficiency. Here in hawaii the sun is mostly to our south, however as the earth tilts the sun actually appears north of us for a few months. Being able to adjust for the seasonal change is quite helpful.
I received a Jury Pool Questionaire in the mail. In the first 30 years I was eligible to serve on a jury I was never called. Then when I moved to Hawaii 24 years ago I have been eligible about 5 times. Circumstances have arisen that I have not yet served, however this may be my time. Decades ago I lived with a lawyer and read all the law books I could. BARBRI, a Dallas, Texas-based company, provides bar review courses for law school graduates preparing for state bar exams. I read the books and cases and took a self-graded exam and did pretty good. Even if I had passed with 100% though I would not be qualified as a lawyer as you must take extensive courses and lectures and so on. Still, it was interesting hat I was able to absorb as much as I did. It was fun to read specific cases.
I have been very tired of late and my blood pressure is up there. I have a lab scheduled this week and the Doctor may have to adjust my meds. I realized it has also been 11 years since my heart surgery. I have some hip pain and have a referal to physial therapy. My weight is also increasing, perhaps because I have not been as active of late. After all the decades of hard work, I just want to finally relax and take it easy. Unfortunately I still have some major projects to complete.
