Lazlo Toth, American

The book was entitled “The Lazlo Letters”. The book contains letters from the fictitious Lazlo Toth to companies and famous personalities. One such letter involved him buying a bag of M&M’s and finding a deformed M&M in the package. He writes and rants about quality control and how the QC person should be fired.

As a reader, you see the humor that may be missed by the recipient of the letter. In another letter written as though he was a child, he contacts the Mr. Bubble company and explains that his Mom got him their powdered bubble bath product. He notes that the box says something like “keep dry” and wonders how they can sell a bubble bath product that cannot be used when wet.

He often signed letters a “Lazlo Toth, American” and then would sometimes also write “Stand By Our President” as they were written during the Nixon Years.

Sometimes an answer from one company would create a question to another company. As I don’t have the book handy, I don’t want to actually quote examples, as I will get the information wrong, however I often laughed out loud when reading many of the letters.

If you happen to see the book for sale, I hope that you will take a look at it. I see copies of “The Lazlo Letters” for sale on Amazon for $5 and up.
