It will be interesting to see if some got planted a bit too deep, because that is what I’m afraid. This explains why I didn’t plant all 3300 at the same time. Consider this a test run!

I’m still cutting down “trash trees” (think giant weeds) from the property and it is beginning to look a lot better than it did just a few months ago. Included in the cleanup is the front of the property where it fronts the access road. I have pulled out lots of junk trees and brush and even trimmed some of the avocado and macadamia nut trees. When I’m done I’ll fix the stone wall and landscape the area. Perhaps that is where I’ll plant a few orange trees and other neat stuff!

Today a group of us are having an organizational meeting for a new group we are forming. I’ll post more information later, but so far it looks like we have lots of interest!

Yesterday I dropped off some green coffee to be roasted. On my way to the meeting today, I’ll be picking up a lot of freshly roasted coffee. I got some of it already ground, because ginding it manually can be a bit messy. Tourists love ground coffee as gifts because many people who love coffee are not driven enough to actually own a grinder.

So if you are looking for a FRESHLY ROASTED 100% Kona Coffee (either whole bean or already ground), zoom on over to ItsKona.Com and have your credit card ready! I will be picking up my coffee today. As an aside, I have found that many people have been taking advantage of the neat deal I have there. To save themselves $1 per bag, they can choose a “less frills” options which reduces the amount of labeling. I suggest that people not choose that option if they are giving a gift, but for sticking the in the fridge or in a container, the “less frills” is a great option. Also, if you have read this far and are thinking of buying a bit of coffee, you can get an even better deal by entering TBLOG as a checkout discount coupon for any item in the “ROASTED COFFEE” category.
