I have only worn a tux twice in my life, once at a wedding for a friend and another when I attended an event at the Australian Embassy in D.C. For that event, I treated my date to a ride in a stretch limo and was wearing a white tux. I did stand out a bit, but I was not the only one in white. For some reason I felt a bit like James Bond for some reason.

That is not to say that I have not attended other events where a tux would have been appropriate, for example, at my Sisters wedding. For that event I wore my uniform as I was attending military school. That event was the only one I can remember where we had both grandmothers and the family in one photo.

As you may know, some of your old photos may be on film stock that will fade over time. If you have a digital camera, you may want to take a photo of the photo and save the digital version. You can even enhance the color and fix scratches with software. After all, memories are meant to be saved.
