October 14th

I have been spending my time between my farm and a neighbors farm he just purchased. His farm has lots more coffee than mine at the moment so his gets the attention.

There have been 3 main pickers of the coffee cherry and on occasion more. We hope for more based upon the size of his farm and the age of the trees. Still, we have picked a lot of cherry.

I have taken the first round up to have it pulped as it was too much for me to do myself. Then it was dried on the deck and finished in the drying drum.

Yesterday I took the dry parchment to be milled and should get it back today.

I will test roast a pound or two in various degrees of roast. Then when we decide which roast(s) to offer for sale, they will go up on my friends website and on mine. I won’t have any of my personal coffee available yet, but will be able to sell of of the “Better Buy Kona” brand Kona Coffee we just harvested.

I expect sales to start within 2 weeks and perhaps as early as next week.
