Pain, Pain and More Pain

This would not be quite so bad if I was able to take a lot of pain medicine. However pain medicine raises my blood pressure to dangerous levels, so I ahve to use it carefully.

I have great difficulty icing the shoulder and the heating pad I have is one of the new kind that has a chip to ensure it does not get too hot. Damn these old people and their inability to feel heat. I’m sure that is why the companys are more careful with these pads now.

I get some relief standing in the shower with hot water hitting my shoulder, but that relief only lasts a short while.

Luckily the one remaining puppy (who is over 25 pounds now) has learned to go up and down the stairs without much trouble. Carrying her was not helping much. O`Lena is close to being in season again, so I have her on a lead (leash) and she wants to pull away when she senses an animal, bird or avocado nearby. I’m also trying to get the coffee picked and processes and yet another group of pickers has said they may help, but I have not seen them yet. Sigh. Next year I’ll have them all scheduled and it won’t be so hard; I just was surprised at how much coffee ripened this year compared to last and was not prepared. I even have 1/4 of the trees that need replacing and that was part of my not being prepared.
