Roasting

I reset the breaker and ran to start the cooling cycle. That batch will be thrown out and luckily for me it is only about 10 oz of beans. No big loss.

Because the orders are gifts I am also having to grind all the coffee here. Since the roaster cannot egt to my order until Monday or Tuesday, I might not have been able to ship until Wednesday at the latest. Our Wednesday pickup is 3:30pm (8:30pm Eastern time) and customers might not have received their coffee until next Saturday. You can see why I stayed up late last night to finish roasting and do some of the grinding.

It is now 9am and I have to be finished and at the Post Office by noon. That is the schedule and I am on track. In an emergency I could go to a neighbors house and use their big grinder, but could not do it yesterday because I was still roasting until late. Since I can grind while the roaster is going, I just switched back and forth. I only have about 3 pounds yet to grind and have again turned off the phone :-)

Well time to get back to work.
