According to the AP, 49 of the 50 states have snow today. The lone holdout, Hawaii, does get snow (sometimes a lot) but not today it appears. In Hawaiian, Mauna Kea means white mountain – named for its occasional snow. The weather on Mauna Kea is about 4 degrees but only 20% humidity. Could that change soon? yup, but don’t hold your shovel (er breath).

It WOULD be a neat thing for there to be snow across the states (some in each state), but to do that, we had multiple blizzards across the country. Doesn’t that smack in the face of global warming?

The only other odd thing I have documented, I have a satellite photo of the Great Lakes being frozen over, and that is not the case now, so perhaps we ARE a bit warmer than the 70’s :-)
