I was ready to leave the house to do 2 quick errands but have to stop and complain first. Socks! Gotta hate them!

Although out here in the islands many people don’t wear socks; I do. Unlike others of my age and older, my socks do NOT go halfway up to my waist! Insrtead I wear athletic socks or those really short ones that are hidden with shoes or boots. That is where I am irritated.

Because it looks silly to wear white socks with brown shoes, I bought a 3-pack of socks. They are black on the top and grey on the bottom, grey on the top and black on the bottom and all grey. Today I was looking and found 1 of each with no mates! SIGH!

Yes, I could wear a black bottom/grey top with a gey sock on the other foot, but *I* would know they were not matched. I also could not say “I have another pais just like it at home” because I can’t find the other pair.

I will never again buy an assortment of socks of many colors and may uinstead just buy lots of pairs of the same white socks and dye them. At least they will be the same style and color.
