So Facebook is hawking an online store through Shopify. The cheapest version is $14 a month! Sure they have templates and make it easy, but even through my own hosting company, I offer online stores AND a website AND email AND lots more for generally $30 a YEAR! Yes, it is possible that a store MIGHT be up to $79 a year, but still cheaper than Facebook!

These stores offer credit card processing at the same price my customers pay, 2.9% and 30 cents through PayPal or WePay with no extra fees. So this Facebook suggestion is costly in my opinion.

Could it be that they want to charge extra because they can bring customers (Facebook users) to the store?  If so, is that what Facebook users have been asking for, MORE ADS on Facebook?
