Recent blogs have covered the day befoe yesterday, yesterday and now we start today.

Like recent days I went to bed early (9pm or so) and the dogs got me up at 1am to go out. Then about 5:30am they want to go out again.

I also have to get up a couple times overnight so I can’t blame them too much. Still I long for a good nights sleep. I also hear another (or the same) coqui frog. This one too will soon meet its maker.

I am still drying some of the recently picked coffee. The sun is out agin this morning so I will pull the beans into the sunligh. Should it cloud over later, the beans will be covered again with the canopy. I bought a cheaper canopy las tweek because COSTCO said they were not expecting to have any any time soon. I hear now that they MAY have just received a shipment of the old style or something similar. GRRRRRR! One of the few times I decided to stop being cheap and buy something that would last!

I also need to start weedwacking the coffee and fruit tree areas and have more coffee cherry to pick. Perhaps as early as today I’ll start hooking up the water controller. For those who want t ofollow along at home, tit is a Hunter Pro-C with remote control. I have 6 zones in the controller and will probably need to add one more 3 zone module soon. That will allow me to control the 5 watering areas I have, and a zone that controls a single valve that lets me transfer water from the bottom tank to the upper tanks. A final zone would let me rebuild my nursery to start new coffee trees. I need to replace lots that didn’t make it through the drought when my pump was broken.
