Take the company identifying itself at TCI (yes, that is their real name). They arreap to sell some kind of program to time the stock market. I don’t really know if I am completely correct or not because I refuse to listen to their speil. Perhaps it is because I hate telemarketers. Perhaps it is because these scumbags continue to call me. They have called me at 5am! They have called me at night. Each tikme they call I tell them not to call back. I have asked them where they got my number and they say that somewhere, sometime ago, I must have answered a survey that I want to know more about stocks or investments, etc. They cannot tell me where or when that was. I have answered the phone at least 15 times and ignored as many calls. I keep telling them I do not want to talk with them. I have reported them at least 6 times to the DO NOT CALL site because all of my phones are registered.

The number they are calling does not support blocking calls and I refuse to turn off the bell, because I may get an emergency call in the middle of the night.

On the last couple of calls I have hit the roof and told them off, told them that I continue to report each number they call me on (they have about 15 outbound numbers). My next step is to initiate a lawsuit for harrasment. That is about the only thing I can do, short of changing my phone number. The FTC and FCC have not yet taken action against these clowns.

Do they really think that we will do business with a company that will not quit calling? Imagine how much their kickback to the telemarketer caller must be to sell this junk to people and not want to take them off your calling list.

I am in the process of setting up an intercept so that when they call, their call will be directed to, perhaps, the IRS! Wouldn’t that be a hoot?
