I park the ATV and tow-behind sprayer at the end of a row and can walk halfway down the row and spray trees on both sides. Then I move two rows over and continue. I did 1/2 of 12 rows before the sprayer was empty and pulling the hose 1/2 way down the rows is easier than trying to drive the ATV very, very slowly and spray each tree. If the spray was not so expensive, I would set up fan sprays and just drive and spray each row (kinda like those car washes you drive through, but in reverse).

I almost moved the puppies into their temporary home up north, but I just can’t get everything done in time. It is almost dark and I have cleaned 3 kennels and tied them in the truck bed and put in towels. That will allow me to put the dogs there and Mom in the front seat of the truck. No telling if she will stay there if the pups start whining, so I also have to clean out the back seat of the truck, as that is where she will probably jump to.

Then the pups go into a kennel I set up for them at my friends farm and Mom will be in a kennel very nearby. Then back to my place to get Koa and my suitcase and computer and monitor and telephone equipment and perhaps my router and modem. I will stay up there for a couple weeks as I can show the mom and the dad and the pups to potential buyers. I have 2 or 3 people already scheduled to come by, some with full payments in hand.

Of the 5 chocolate pups, 3 or 4 are already spoken for. Lil Pup may be held back from sale; I’m not sure yet. I have not had a lot of response on the black pups (there are 6) but I do expect them them to sell. Black Labs are very handsome/beautiful dogs.

Well, I need to finish packing my clothes and deciding upon what peperwork I need to take with me. I have folders for each pup with their pedigree and health info and my contract and other information. It is a lot of paperwork and some will require shipping information as some owners will not see their dog until it arrives on the plane. It is too bad I can’t get frequent flier miles ffor the pups but cargo doesn’t work that way.

I also have to decide if I will buy a wading pool. The pups DO have to swim some :-)

Also, I am suigned up to go to the KonaWeb party and have to come up with some type of side item. I hope I have time tomorrow.

Anyway, have to run. More later.
