A Sad Note

Having worked for Hewlett Packard for 18 years, I have worked and interacted with many, many people. Some of those people were overseas however, most were in Maryland and Georgia.

When I retired from HP, I joined an online forum for ex-employees and sometimes see names of people I remember show up. For the most part, it is a happy things, but not this time.

On occasion an obituary notice is sent out and tonight I saw that a co-worker from Atlanta recently died from a motorcycle accident. Mark Conroy worked for HP fro 20 years and retired in 2002.

Mark and I worked closely troubleshooting network issues and finding ways to make the network run smoothly. He always impressed me with his knowledge and attitude.

He left lots of friends behind and will be greatly missed.
