years holiday I switched on my Roku and found that I may no longer be receiving ABC (the Australian Broadcasting Company).

Two series I have followed have been “Gardening Australia” a very well produced gardening show, and “First Tuesday Book Club” with great reviews of books.

When I first found them I decided to catch up on old episodes and would sometimes stream 2 or 3 in a row.

I may be able to go directly to the networks website to see future versions, but having it on my Roku was very convenient.

My Mom would love the Roku box because lately I have been watching one of her favorite British shows “Keeping Up Appearances” from many years ago.

When watching some old classic Star Trek, I noticed an odd item. On one of the first shows, the Enterprise arrives at an earth-like planet. The planet shown is an exact visual replica of the Earth and the children speak English, but there was no reason to show a planet with the United States clearly visible when the storyline had nothing to do with a clone of the earth.

In any event, I still have lots to watch, but hope I will get back my “ABC”.
