Readers have no idea how these song titles are chosen and have to fit with the blog. This time it was pretty easy, especially when I remembered that the Turtles were also a music group (Happy Together).

Fats Domino did a famous song called I’m Walkin` and that indeed describes the event today. (N he also did I Found My Freedom on Blueberry Hill, but I think the first title is better for this blog). The 10 little pups are starting to get up on their 4 legs in an attempt to walk. No more crawling is the hope. It would help alot if their little eyes were open too, but I hope that will also happen any time now.

One male chocolate Lab is still a bit small but appears in good health. He is the softest of the bunch, fur-wise.

Today is Independance Day for both the U.S. and the green turtles. Here in Hawaii we call it Trutle Independance Day because at the mauna Lani resort, they release some turtles back to nature.

Speaking of the turtles and the song Happy Togetehr, I will not be so happy today when I head into town to the get-together with the Governor. As I say, he and the rest of the people there do not share my political view of the world I will be in the minority at this event. I just hope I can slip in and out quietly after giving the Gov`ner my view on his veto.

Speaking of the Mauna Lani Resort, opening today is a coffee shop owned by Mountain Thunder Coffee, who is a founding member of our Kona Coffee Farmers Association. They will also be selling some marmalade and chutney and other home-made items which my friend canned. I supplied the mangos and Meyer Lemons for those products. It will be interesting to see if and how quickly visitors buy them up.
