I live in Hawaii. Regular readers know that and most of them know that I will slyly rub it in whenever I can. Considering the weather on the mainland, I need to pass this along.

Today it was overcast and warm (again) about 75 degrees. The temperature at 9pm is 70.3 but it feels like 70.3! The forecast says there is a 20% chance of rain, but that kinda means it will rain over 20% of the area because it can rain on part of my property and not on the other. I have 9 acres.

If it gets to 90 degrees, it would be a record most days of the year here. We usually have tradewinds so there is usually a breeze of 10-14 mph.

Just so you won’t feel so bad, it DID get very cold today. On the summit of Mauna Kea it was 33 degrees today. With a bit of humidity we could get a bit of snow, but you know, I would have to drive a couple hours to get to it. So it’s not like I would have to put up with snow here at home.

There MUST be a reason that you live where you do and put up with what you do. I just can’t always figure that out. Just so you know :-)
