A “run” involves the use of an ATV being driven uphill to the top of the property (where the dogs play) and then down to the bottom of the farm. They may go back up to the top another time and finally end up at the pool, to play catch and tumble around and of course swim.

On this particular day, O`Lena did the run but then slipped into the dog kitchen to nose around. The kitchen has shadecloth around it and a firm roof. Inside is a sink and a fridge and freezer for dog food storage.

When I came back outside to see if the dogs were back from their run, Sanrda was quite upset. She told me that O`lena had gone in the kitchen and returned with a butcher knife in her mouth. She was running up and down the property and would not give up the sharp knife. Sandra was conecrned that the puppy would cut herself or the other dogs. She finally dropped the knife to Sandra’s relief.

At my house, O`lena and Koa often sit and watch parts of television shows. I wonder if O`Lena is sneaking out of the bedroom at night to watch scary movies?
