The I went out and killed weeds around some of the coffee trees. While I was in and out around the farm, I did laundry and picked some banannas to give away.

Then I cleaned out the truck for a special passenger tonight.

I loaded trash into the truck bed and grabbed my certificate for dinner.

First stop was Al’s to get fertilizer for the citrus. Then off to Sandras to see the last 2 poodle puppies. One is off to Malaysia this weekend to a new home.

I went to the far end of my journey to get irrigation parts. Then COSTCO for a hotdog to tide me over.

Heading south I stopped at OfficeMax/Petco/SportsAuthority and while there, Sandra and her red poodle who was being groomed. A family had seen the pup and decided to ask about it. He &may& have a home soon, time will tell. He is such a cute and sweet pup and even carefully licked the face of their new baby!

Then I was off to Ross ro look at knives.

Minutes later I settled down at a pavilion at the old airport awaiting the picnic. A woman came by holding a piece of cardboard with a welders glass on it, offering to let people see Venus. What a woderful gesture because she wasn’t at the park for any other reason it appears. I tried to get her to stay for out event but she was off minutes before our crowd of 28 began arriving. One other couple who saw Venus was on their way to the new airport, Australia bound.

After a fantastic Konaweb picnic and sunset I drove Shirley home. Her husband Bob, one of the hosts of the picnic and a musician, was playing at a nearby resort.

A quick swing by the post office and I was home to run the dogs, feed them, watch a bit of TV and blog. Then it’s off to be as I need to spray the rest of the weeds tomorrow, mow the fruit area and perhaps fertilize the citrus.
