The tell-tale wire to his earpiece was a give-away that he was the driver to take the Governor to his next appointment. As he walked along the sidewalk, he noticed me in the vehicle. I knew what was to come, for security he would ask me to move. I rolled down the window and tried to explain that my friend was meeting with the Governor, she is using a cane due to a recent injury and this is where she expects me to be.

He stopped me in mid sentence and asked, “Do you raise these Labradors?” which were shown on the magnetic sign on the side of the vehicle. I explained that my friend did and after a brief discussion of raw feeding and puppy litters, we were cut off when he received a radio message that the meeting was over and the Governor was to arrive soon.

I was pleased to talk with him because as you may know by now, we MAY just have a puppy for him :-)
